Well, I gave the tire guy my keys tonight, and he is going to put some 2" lift keys on the front, and stick some 34" Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 05 Platinum tomorrow...

I cant wait to see how it turns out! It should look real good leveled out with the bigger tires and factory 20"s...

I know that most of you guys would rather see it lowered with bigger rims, but this is my tow rig, and I had to beef it up a bit so it does not look so odd pulling this:

I will post pics when it is done. Here is a before shot from the dealer add when I bought it.

I had a Cherokee Chief, I wondered who bought the other one they made. ;)

Good looking truck. I can't wait to see it. I've always toyed with the idea of a lift and big tires on stock 20s or 22s, so I love to see pics of that stuff.

It took an extra day... I didnt end up needing the torsion keys up front. They just tightened up the bars to raise it 3/4" to level it out... I am VERY pleased with the results!! However, once I figure out how to raise the rear air ride system 1.5"-2"s, I might go ahead and bring the whole thing up a bit more...

Nice, those look really good man! So your truck is at stock height right now? Any rubbing problems? Full turns, sharp turns, etc. Are they loud or affect the ride quality apposed to the stock goodyears? Overall looks really good!

The rear is at stock height, but the front was raised about 3/4" by tightening up the torsion bars. So, no extra lift components were required.

The ride is a bit more stiff due to the torsion adjustment, but it is still softer than my 04 Suburban was.

On the road, I think that it handles WAY better. I assume because the tires are more square so there is more contact patch.

They are a LITTLE bit louder than the factory ones, but nothing bad. I can still hear my K&N FIPK..

Kinda makes it look like 17s with stock tires. Except meaner.

How much more do the new tires weigh compared to the old ones?
