I have an '05 ESV and I am trying to get the code to unlock the head unit's ability to play DVDs. I know it's possible because I have read about people that have successfully done it but I can't seem to track down the procedure to do it. Can anyone provide the codes or the procedure for how to get this done?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Have not been in the forum in awhile and just reading some older posts. My kenwood headunit plays DVD's fine while driving and I am going to see the installer this week so I will ask him if he can help with your answer.
Is it a stock head unit, if not what make and model is it?

Isn't it illegal to watch DVD while driving? If so, what about looking at navigation? That's one thing I don't understand. Does anyone know how the law is worded/defined?

I'm going to get this worked out on mine. There are a ton of interface kits out there that will allow you to input a source and play it on the Navi screen. I might go with this one.
A guy on another forum ran a wire to that lockpick and uses the rear dvd player to play movies on the front screen. Or you can just get a add on player and hook it up to the Lockpick.
Did you ever get this system hooked up? How has it worked and how difficult was the install? If I have an auxilary ipod adapter in the head unit already should they conflict at all?
