What I really like is when the parts break off and get ingested by the motor.

I remember seeing that scam decades ago in Popular Science.

And you are paying 60 bucks to potentially screw up your motor to boot.

I wonder how much of an improvement it will give you in mileage when your running on battery? :)

With 2 of these babies in series you should be able to get at least 100mpg...

Wow, all of the engineers in Detroit have not been able to figure out that a little swirly would do so much. Unbelieveable. No, really -- unbelievable. These POS have been sold for a long time, but no independent verifiable results.

A fool and his money are soon parted. There's a sucker born every minute.
Choose which you prefer. (Now that I think about it though, where did the fool get his money in the first place??)

Do a search on eBay for "CTS-V" and fifty of these snake oil things show up. :thehand:

I'm sure that at one specific speed or condition it might show a slightly lower fuel consumption, but anything that gets in the way of air trying to find its way into the combustion chamber is completely undesireable over the full range of operating conditions.

ebay is full of shysters so I expect it there. I was shocked to find this crap in the Summit web site.

I guess they are like anyone else, if they can make money on it they will sell it. Just pains me that's all.

I think they only work when paired with one of these. I hope these fit my B&B. It will give me a deeper sound too. I can't wait...

Those only work in tandem with this product.

You have to buy the full set or they are worthless.

ewill3rd, you've come through again!. I've been casting about for an engine oil cooler for my '06 since seeing 280+ degrees oil temps after 20 minutes in 90-degree air at California Speedway June 14. I followed the link to KaleCo and discovered their Engine Oil Bypass Kit (http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8&zenid=83473dd833523deaa74034c21cec2b4e).
Not only does it reduce oil temps, but it also promises to extend oil life. I talked to one of their techs, and he advised me about LS2-specific AN fittings. Simple install (3 hoses and a pipe, and no leak-prone adapter). KaleCo has some great stuff!

I needed a pair of these to improve my track times at Cal Speedway.
