That is a nice car. Isn't that the one in the new Batman movie ?
Damn, I really wish I had a spare $1.6 million laying around.

Afraid not, Chad, my '64 Lamborghini 350 GT was delivered in 1968 to the Port of Los Angeles fully crated as you see the Reventon. Lamborghini's representative, a gentleman by the name of Jack Robbins, said it was the only Lambo that had been crated to be delivered to the Western US to that date. The reason it was crated was that it was originally supposed to be delivered to me in Ethiopia (now Eritrea) and that necessitated it going by ship down around the Horn, since the Suez Canal was closed. The only way I could get complete insurance for the car was to have it completely crated. Before the car was shipped to Africa, the Tet Offensive in Vietnam took place and I was recalled to Washington for retraining on the Vietnamese problem. Fortunately, my Lambo hadn't been shipped to Africa yet and was diverted to L.A. I was already in South Vietnam when the car arrived, so my Mother, a proverbial "little Old Lady from Pasadena" had to take delivery and was driven by Jack Robbins back to her home in Pasadena where the car was stored till I got home six months later! As it turned out, the car I had bought directly from Automobile Ferruccio Lamborghini, Spa in Sant'Agata was the first production Lamborghini built and was the car shown at the Geneva Auto show in 1964. It had been used lightly by Lamborghini's brother and never registered to a private owner, so I quess one could say I was its' first owner!
dear LORD hideous interior

Wow, as much as I hate Lambo's/Ferrari's and the people who drive them, I must say that looks damn cool. It looks like a steal fighter with all the solid lines intercepting at odd angles. No roundy crap. I would still rather have a Corvette. Goes just as fast, sounds way better and costs 1/16 the price.

It was actually inspired by the F22. Check out the gauges.

That is slick. I want to know why it needs a flight plane monitor though. I think thats what it is called, the thing in the very middle up top.
