I have a 98 STS and when you turn on the A/C the drivers side blows warm air and the passenger blows ice cold, I did this with the both side of the duel on 60 and with the duel climate off, Also I took the engine out the the car so there is a possibility that I didn't hook something up correctly.
Thanks

The mix door is not operating properly, do a forum search you will find ur answers there.
On a dual zone system, that is a symptom of low refrigerant.

can anyone help me with the mix door without asking me to search?

Ranger is right, my '01 STS had the same issue this week. Low on refrigerant. Recharge corrected the problem. Leaking low pressure schrader valve caused it to go low.

Similar, yet different problem on my 2000 STS. AC fails on driver side once the car is over 60mph. Works fine under 60mph. Thoughts?

ElViejo, Just for grins, try to shift the system to "recirculate" and see if that makes a difference at speed. There may be a blend door that is either hanging up or is disconnected from the actuator and is "blowing shut" at higher flow rates and pressures.
