Hi Folks,
I have oil cooler lines that need replacing due to small leak.
They are seized at the point where they enter the oil cooler on the radiator.
Could any one suggest a way to get these out with damaging the Radiator?

The "usual" stuff Rost off, plus gas, Shock freeze, has been tried with no success.
I am going drive the car till its reaches operating temp, and then apply Freezer spray to the nut, as a last resort.

As always, thank you all in advance!

Just checked the FSM and there doesn't appear to be any tricks involved. You might try the freeze thing or look for a thread penetrant called PB Blaster. It sure works on old Olds 455 bolts.

Hold the bus....yeah there are few tricks for getting rusted shut bolts and screws out. It involves heat and a birthday candle(wax). Heat it with a propane torch, and melt some wax into the threads, then loosen it. Don't try it if you radiator has plastic end caps...obviously. I couldn't beleive it the first time I heard about this technique, but I'm sold after using it about 5 times on 5 different apps.

It'd be pretty hard to fit a propane torch and a candle in that spot. Especially the bottom ones. Plus, how is the wax supposed to flow horizontally? ;)

HEAT! :tisk: The radiator side tanks are plastic.
