Hi, I have a 87 Brougham I'm having a problem with gas mileage and power. It seems like I have ok power around town but when I'm on the highway its hard to accelerate past 55-60. Ive also notice when i floor it, it will shift down to second fine and accelerate slowley up to 55 but it just lingers there and if there is a hill i lose speed going up the hill while still flooring it. Once I let off the gas it will shift fine to 3rd then to 4th. I'm trying to sell the car for my aunt and its only got 88k miles on it. I just dont want to sell it if it has a tranny prob.
