Yesterday 5/29/08 my CTS with 14000 miles gave up the ghost. What I mean is when my wife pulled out from a parking spot at work the car would not go any faster than 4 miles per hour, every warning light and indicator that could alert the driver that a catastrophic failure occurred came on.
The dealer (Who has been good about everything) towed the car. Today they are unable to fail the system; no codes come up on their tester thing. However the car felt as if it were starting out in third gear and had no power, this for a short time. We have noticed that this has been happening but were not sure.
Has anyone had any problems of this nature? The car is the 304 hp 6 cilinder with all wheel drive and loaded, I am so sad.

Love the car, but if they can not find anythig wrong I will be afraid to drive it.

Something like that. I would suspect the battery is goofing up. Most GM batteries are good for 3 years.

You did not mention model year.

Or a bad ground.
