Hey everyone,

I'm going to be purchasing a 2006 Escalade ESV in the next couple of days. I have read some good information and I was just wondering if I could get some feedback on what everyone is getting for gas mileage with their truck?

If you could let me know I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I don't have an ESV but I get about 14-15 in the city and about 18-19 on the highway. I have a volant CAI installed and new MAF sensor. I also use cruise control anytime I can and keep my foot out of it. These trucks are in no way shape or form gas economical but they sure do look good! I would expect the ESV to be just a bit lower on the gas mileage but not much.

Hope this helps and good luck with the purchase and new truck! You will love it. :)

i have an 03 ESV and usually get between 13-14 mpg. i check it every tank. Gonna start moddin it though. Headers, off road Y, full exhaust, torque converter, cold air, E fans, sleeper cam, pulley, stuff like that.

My Lade got 14 in town and 16 on the highway. Don't expect a lot more IMO. It's one of those things, "if you have to ask...."

If economy is a big concern of yours with the forthcoming $5.00/gallon gas prices, you will want to look elsewhere. You will spend a lot of $$$ to feed an Escalade ESV even if you choose not to use premium fuel.

05 platinum ESV, all stock. I'm getting 14-16 mpg. That's "city". Haven't really done any highway driving with it. I average about 45 mph in it.

ETA: This thing eats gas big time. I put about $400 a month in it and I work from home.... It's worth it though. I love this thing and so do my kids.
