Has anyone driven these two different drive trains? If so, is the added cost of the 305+ HP engine worth it? Is the added HP that much more impressive?

And yes it is worth it.

It's a small but noticable increase that you can feel. I feel it's worth the difference, especially if you order all wheel drive.

It's largely unnoticeable in normal driving, but for midrange punch (30-50) the DI engine is a little more peppy.

HOPALONG, you may not be aware of it, but the forum has search capability. Use the "Search" link in the Blue toolbar of links near the top of the page, or use the "Search this Cadillac Forum" from the main page of any sub-forum on this site. There have been other threads asking this same question. By doing the search, you could have found your answer immediately, without having to wait for members to respond to a question that has already been asked.

And ALL forums have two unwritten rules.
1-Use their search engine and base your questions on what you discover there.......all searches will not be uniformly successful......

I stand by what I said.

If you had just scrolled down the page you would have found at least 3 threads all discussing the engine variations, their differences, and whether or not it is worth getting it.

With that said,

Loosen up. This is a forum, not the court of law. If what I said was "obnoxious" - then I did not mean it obnoxiously - hence using the word BRAT against myself.
