so i went to get my '85 smogged today. for some reason i felt inclined to watch the technician perform his duties. we were talking and he was telling me about his various car projects he had at home. he kept remarking about how nice my car was and what good shape it was in. end comes and he forgot a pair of pliers attatched to something under the hood. what does he do? he slams the hood on the pliers which scratches the fiberglass portion of the nose of the car. NOT a big deal its not that big of a scratch. when i went to pay i mentioned to the owner that one of his technicians slightly damaged my car and and he sent some guy out to look at the car with me. the guy calls the technician over and the guy immediately starts cussing at me. "are you f****** serious are you trying to get money out of this you god d*** a**hole! you f****** a**!" i was pretty floored. i was like "hold on your saying this to me? i can get you fired right here" and with that he walked off. the guy who came out with me went inside and told the owner in a hasty tone "as far as i can see it's been there before" and then slammed the door. the owner was cool to me and gave me a fat discount and apologized. so much for goodwill on earth ya?
