Please forgive me if this is the wrong spot to post. I looked for a "For Sale" section, but didn't really find one....just a link to dealerships. I am looking to sell my 1971 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, and obviously Caddy enthusiasts like yourselves seem like a good bet to me.

- 472 ci (7.7 liter) runs fine, some hesitation from a stop though
- steers/handles/rides well
- stops very well and evenly
- red top optima battery
- leather (worn)
- power windows work
- power locks (don't work properly)
- Kenwood CD player (but crappy stock speakers) lol

- needs tires
- factory clock doesn't work
- paint is yellow, but oxidized to beige, I buffed it to yellow 4 years ago, and it's now beige again :(
- headliner seams have let go in the California heat (using safety pins to hold it together right now)
- dash cracked right down the center running fore to aft
- previous owner spilled battery acid on passenger seat
- driver's seat torn in spots
- rear seats are sun worn and torn at the top by speaker shelf
- A/C in place, but does not blow cold
- factory halo top is shot
- soccer ball size dent aft of front driver's side door

I know gas prices are absurd right now, so I am not looking to make a killing on this sale. My area (northern California) is offering $650 for old "gross polluters" like this one. I'd HATE to sell it to the state so they can crush it. Someone please offer me more than $650 for my beast. 1971 is emissions exempt (as I'm sure most of you guys know), so you have to worry about smogging her.

The reason I am selling is because I have only put about 5k miles on it in the last 5+ years. It is driving me crazy watching her sit in the sun and not being restored (like my original plan was). I am sure I forgetting things, so I will be back if I remember anything else. Please email if interested/need more pics or PM me.

Tony

I attempted to post pics, but it is this post is being flagged as spam....which it's not. I (and my car) am located at Travis AFB, CA.....about halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento off of I-80.
