Auto sport is better......

I run auto-sport all the time...much better shift points. My MPG is a bit weak, but owell. :)

When you are in auto sport mode what is it doing differently than the regular auto mode?

the shift points.. if you hit it when ur in sport mode the tranny will wait till right before red line to shift

With auto sport, you just mash the pedal to the floor and the computer shifts it at 7k rpms - just like clockwork. No guessing or hitting the rev limiter like you would with a manual transmission. Very consistent (learned recently) ...

It ALSO speed matches the downshifts. This is the first auto that is better than I am......

I know I am slightly off-topic, but I am finding it incredibly difficult to rev-match downshifts in the manual trans car. It may just be the fact that I am used to a lighter flywheel, but it seems like you really need to mash, not blip, the throttle on downshift. If the auto does that for you, kudos to it.

Maybe I was driving very nicely before and i did not notice.
However, after the last dealer visit my CTS is shifting like you'd described above.
It is amazing, my CTS is agressive now.., I am very excited.
