Does the Ambient Interior Lighting show up the same in the Ebony and Cashmere interiors? Is one interior color more impressive with ambient lighting than the other?

I have the ebony interior and I must say that the only disappointment I have with the car is the ambient lighting. One could hardly use the word "impressive" to describe it unless you were in otherwise total darkness. And, yes, I do have the lighting turned all the way up as high as it can go.

It's ambient lighting. It's supposed to be subtle.

I didn't realize the ambient lighting was adjustable!! I need to check that out.

It is a bit dim, even at full strength on the lighting setting, however in very dark drives it does look pretty cool.

I have cashmere interior and the ambient lighting is gorgeous.

It would seem if the lighing is not real bright, that the cashmere might make it show up more as it would reflect the light vs. absorbing like black.

I like the contrast the light has with the black interior more than cashmere at night...

To make a long story short. Ambient Lighting is nice no matter the color of the interior.

I have the Black Cherry with Ebony interior and for me the ambient light looks great; I have it adjusted to approx 80% and it provides the level of illumination I like. I am sure it is brighter with cashmere but since I don't plan to try to read by ambient it works fine with the ebony color.

I have cashmere, and he ambient lighting is subtle, and adds a little bit MORE class to the interior.

OK folks... Ive been through the owners manual, and didn't find it. How is the ambient lighting adjusted???
