Edmonton Motors, Edmonton, Alberta Canada.. best dealership in town to deal with.

Orderred an '09 CTS AWD w/ Sight & sound, Performance, Navigation, and Comfort and Convenience packages and the roof in Raven Black. However, I'm told it won't show up until September or October.. This is gonna be along summer of driving the wife's Mazda 3 waiting.

I just hope the pricing doesn't go crazy.

I ordered mine as well on Friday.

When I ordered mine my dealer did not even have 2009 pricing. Did yours have pricing when you ordered yours?

Back in May I was told that the 2009's would be coming from the factory in June. If a Sept or October delivery is true I am very disappointed.

I am jealous. My dealer will not take my order yet as he does not have the pricing yet. I emailed Cadillac and they said they will start production of the 2009 CTS on June 9th. How can they not have prices yet?

They did not have any pricing info at all. They told me that GM called them and wanted two initial orders placed. I was one of them. Pricing will be available July-ish I was told. He expected the car delivered around September. Keep in mind, I'm in Canada, you folks may receive your 09's sooner due to increased production numbers.

I'd like to take the opportunity to warn any potential GM customers in the Edmonton area that Southpark Cadillac was incredibly difficult to deal with in this process and I highly recommend not using them and going to Edmonton motors.

The wait already sucks! How can I last 3 months?

Curious...

Are people buying the '09 CTS blindly?

I ask this because I have not seen a single photo nor spec
on the new vehicle.

How do we know if there have been any radical changes that
may make the '08 a better buy?

Just wondering where people are finding out what the new
model brings to the table.

The ordering guide is out. It has all the features and packages available, but no pricing. Also, these get changed all the time. There will probably be a few minor changes before pricing comes out and before production begins.

I anxiously wait for the cadillac.com and gmbuypower.com (supplier discount) sites to be updated so I can build my '09, complete with pricing, including the cost of the option collections (luxury and performace groups, etc.). I would also love to see the new colors (esp. Blue Diamond) in the 360-degree gallery. I think it's a safe bet cadillac.com will be completely revamped to give it a fresh look and heighten the excitement for the new MY, even though there aren't MAJOR earth-shattering changes to the '09 CTS.

The eogld site is very informative and great to research, but it's meant for dealerships and can be confusing for the uninitiated, especially with all the proprietary acronymns and codes. :bonkers:

It takes them some time to figure out how much you have.......

Maybe somebody knows… Why did they remove the performance brakes (J55) from the performance package with 18” all-season wheels? They were previously included with DI, FE2, AWD. Not anymore for MY09.:rant2:

When you get a order number, e mail it to me. I work inside the plant and may be able to help out a bit. You must keep anything we say under your hat.
