How can I change the red arrow which represents the car, to go in the direction that I'm actually traveling?

touch the compass needle in the top left corner of the screen. It either has an "N" on it or if you push it, a compass needle.

Let's say the icon shows the N, how many times do I have to press it in order to get to 3D?

Does anyone know how to quickly find out the description and information for a POI icon that appears on the screen? I tried touching each one thinking a box would pop up with the information for that POI, no dice. Am I doing something wrong?

There's only three modes. North up, heading up, and 3D. It cycles through to the next view each time you click on the compass, so the maximum would be 2.

Best way I know is to touch POI at the bottom of the screen. You can touch to sort by POIs in order on the current route, in alphabetical order, or by distance from your location. Can't scroll through many while the car's rolling though, so stop before you start scrolling through a long list of POIs.

you can go directly to any one of them with voice commands.
