: Checking connections for front center Speaker

Hello everyone,

I hope this question has not been answered because I could not find it on the forums.

Here is my problem:

I have a 1998 STS and the front center speaker makes a weird distorted sound. It does this at any volume and most frequencies, but when I leave my car untouched for a few days it will work perfectly for a few hours.

All I would like to know is how can I get to the connector for the front center speaker, so I can make sure it isn't loose, and if it isn't loose I would like to simply unplug it so it stops bothering me, I love good audio, but the cash is tight and I rather have it unplugged and not bothering me if I can't fix it now.

Thanks!

I understand that, I just need to find the connector so I can unplug and forget about the center speaker.
