Something I just noticed last night, and never thought about before now. Are the gear selection markings adjacent to the automatic gear lever (P, D, R, etc.) back-lit? Or did they not bother to light them since the gear selection is shown the instrument pod as well?

No, it does not illuminate.

Great, thank you. My car isn't broken. I was not looking forward to the dealer pulling the interior apart to replace something, only to wind up with squeaks or rattles where none previously existed. This is good news.

the "prndl" isn't back lit - I guess they want your eyes looking up - but the console is illuminated from above by a blue LED.
