Hey everyone -

Just wanted to see if anyone has experienced a squeaky drivers seat. It seems as it it is coming from the right lower part of the seat back. It happens in any position. The only way that it is miminized is when I use the lumbar and inflate the seat all the way.

Anyone else experience this?

I have had creaking in mine. However when I move the seat to a different orientation it goes away for a while.

Man, my 06 Yukon Denali does that, along with most 800 series GM trucks.

I sure this isn't going to be an issue on the CTS as well!

The car is so quiet that the creaky seat is the only noise I normally hear. Is it the "Thin Seat Technology"?

Yup, I've the same issue. The car is four weeks old 4,000 miles. I'm not happy at all. Dealer says "It's Normal"

I am having the same issues with my drivers seat, rocks a bit , makes all kinds of noise, especially when cornering and moving side to sode. Dealer says normal. I have 2 other vehicles with over 100k miles and the seats don't make noise at all. My 2006 sts with 18k miles = lots of seat noise

Mine squeaked too. Dealership found bolt/nut loose inside seat.

It was very noisy but according to mechanic was an easy fix.

Mine does this too. Have not been to dealer yet. Have rattle in rear passenger interior door latch as well.

My car has some creaks. I feel like I ntice them because the rest of the car is so damn quiet.

Mine does the same thing. It's a constant squeak and moving the seat doesn't change it.

I haven't taken the car in for service yet, but I am just waiting for the resonse that pjcapurso got... "that it's normal". Those are fight'n words.

The problem is the back of the seat is made of plastic and the leather makes noise against the plastic. I filled the space where the leather meets the plastic with black foam that you wrap pipes with and it stopped an squeaking noise
