I'm looking to get a clear bra installed on the front bumper of my car. I was wondering if any companies make a precut clear bra kit for the CTS. Also would it be better to get it professionally done? Are there any companies that have a better clear bra product than others? I already have a few chips from rocks on my bumper, so I will be getting it repainted if i decided to go with the clear bra. Any opinions on the clear bra idea would be greatly appreciated.

I have a clear bra on my vette. I think it's great, although it's a pain to wax around. I suggest having a professional install it. You can buy them from varying places but usually installers get their own kits. Be wary of people that cut them on the car as that on occasion can scatch it. Here's a site that has one for the CTS.

I installed one on my 2007 CTS that I purchaed off e bay. The hood and bumper kits cost me approsimately $100.00 and I installed it myself. Follow the direction and it is not that difficult to do.
However we also have a Toyota Sienna which the dealer had installed. It cost for that car $450.00. I can honestly say that although the clear bra is OK on the CTS that the one on the Toyota is much thicker and better.
I consequently did some research and discovered that the clear bra on the Toyota is by 3M. I would definitely recommend the 3M product even though it is more expensive.
I am purchasing a new Cadillac CTS and am going to order the 3M bra and bumper combined kit and install it myself. The directions are simple and since I have the expereince of installing one on my 2007 CTS I am going to do it myself and save some money. The one I am purchasing will cost $185.00 plus shipping. The link to purchase this one is as follows:

You may want to compare this to what it would cost to have a 3M bra and bumper kit installed for you. PLEASE LET US ALL KNOW WHAT PRICES YOU GET.
IN SUMMARY I RECOMMEND THAT YOU GET THE PROTECTION, WHETHER YOU DO IT YOURSELF OR HAVE IT DONE

I would also recommend the 3M product. I just had it done on my CTS. I would also suggest that you also cover the first 18" or so of the hood. If you do a lot of interstate driving it will really help.

3M has 5 years parts and labor. I would not recommend installing it yourself unless you are extremely handy with that kind of project.
My 2 cents.

I have the 3-M brand on my DTS. I really like it and would recommend it.

I have 3M on my other car. It was installed by a pro and covers the front hood, bumper, headlights, mirrors and an extr piece on the rear to keep suitcases from scrtaching it. $600.
Car is basically cherry after 5 years, but mask is getting a little ratty. None of the dings penetrated to the paint however.
I havetaken the bra off the hood (Because all Interstate driving will bein the CTSnow) and it is perfect.

VentureShield FTW! 3M just bought out Venture Tape but I doubt any product consolidation has occurred yet...

I had the 3M clear bra installed in December when my car came in (it was installed by a "professional")--and my choice was for a computer cut, scalloped edge, bra--one that followed the profile of the car if looking down from above, or a straight across cut. Since the "straight across" cut covered more of the hood paint, that is what I selected. It looks great--very hard to detect (my car is White Diamond color). Also, the installer said to wax it, just like the paint on the car. When I did that the first time, the wax was rather significantly harder to wipe-off, and on subsequent waxings, I have not waxed the clear bra. I also had the mirrors done.
