I have a 91 Eldorado with the Delco/Bose Gold Series. The CD player is junk. Won't play CD-Rs or even regular CDs half the time. I want to convert to an Alpine 9886 so I can play my I-pod and CDs. The speakers were all re-done by Bose about a year or two ago so I would like to keep them. I searched and searched but couldn't find any info on the 86-91 Eldorado with Bose. I understand they are a lower ohm. How can I make this work without replacing the factory Bose speakers? Thanks

On boe all I know the have an internal amplifer in the car somewhere but when you add a aftermarket radio to a boe system you have to wire the radio to the car harnes except don't use the factory speaker wires. Just run new wires. Or your other option is find a new or ued factory radio for your lac ebay, craigslist or a junkyard. Good luck
