: What to buy?

So with my government check coming I thought about what I want to spend it on and I'm pretty much torn between two things. An HDTV, or a set of wire wheels for my Fleetwood. Either one would be really cool but I just don't know which I want more. The check probably won't pay for either one in entirety, but it should provide a good amount of the cost. What do you think?

I'm buying three new AR-15 lowers and a Noveske N6 (CA legal) AR10 lower so I can build some new rifles.

Wheels, of course. You can watch TV when you're old.

Dope...I'd go with the wheels...but only if you can find a manufacturer that is US-made. The whole point of the stimulus check is to get money back into the economy...so if you ship cash straight to Japan, all you've done is further the national debt and weakened the US dollar, eh.

AR-series rifles are almost completely 100% made in the United States by US owned companies...

Well, as I understand it ........ you can't buy an American made TV anymore! In my opinion wire wheels on on your Fleetwood would not be an improvement on the OEM hubcaps ...... so I quess it's back to the drawing board on ways to spend your gov check! You might just bank it to ofset the additional cost of gas in the months to come.

Hmmmmm. Decisions, decisions. Personally Im not a fan of wire rims bt they do fit your ride.

I want to jump feet first into mod hell right about now but Sunday is our 1 year anniversary so as you can imagine this check isnt being spent on me. LOL

I cant imagine not having my HD TVs though. It just sucks to go to a regular one now.

-Are you totally debt free? If not, slap it on the balance.

-Put it in a savings account and don't touch it, put it towards the down payment of a house.

I know, I am a boring old guy.....

I will be doing the first choice.

If you MUST buy one of those two horrible options, I'd go with the TV.

Just remember, when ZOMBIES attack, a HDTV isn't going to save you.

A new rifle will. Especially if its an AR.

Can't vouche for effectiveness against Zombies, but a rifle is definitely no good against warewolves and vampires!

Yea, but you don't know Dopestar like I do...he's got a 'thing' with zombies...

And if you have any old silver dollars, you can make your own bullets and take out the werewolves...and I've seen wooden training bullets that should work for the vampires too!

........screw the PC and invest it.

Werewolves, like vampires, hate a garlic fart.

In todays economy a 1000 gallon tank of regular would be a good investment.

Ha! With the government check he can't get more than about two fillups of premium, much less a thousand gallons of anything!
