:banghead:Just spun a rod on my 472 with only 13,000 miles on it after it was rebuilt by a local engine builder. Looking to purchase new short block from a reliable engine builder on east coast. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you don't find a short block, you might consider having the crank throw hard chromed (returning it to std or -0.10 for example) and either replace the rod or have it resized on the big end if it's not too bad. Just a thought.:bouncy:
