I was wondering if anybody has any links or instructions on removing a windshield on a 90 eldorado. Many thanks.

Way out of my year group, but there are several specialized tools for the job available at NAPA and other dedicated parts houses, as opposed to AutoZone and the like which sell mostly accessories.

You'll probably have trouble with the surround moldings...the clips tend to rust.

None of my business, but if you have a cracked w/s the best bet may be Safelite..........

Windshield replacements have become so mundane that it makes far more sense just to give a call to the specialists than to fool with it yourself. Most used windshields have nicks and chips that erupt into a crack with the slightest attempt at removal.

I'm gonna get the window from the junk yard then take it to a glass shop to be put in.

Believe me, you'll be a happy camper ! ...........and remember that glass damage is covered by your comprehensive insurance.
