Hi everyone, I was paging through the owners manual for my '89 Brougham d'Elegance and I came across the diagram of the relay box that's mounted somewhere behind the parking brake. I compared it to mine and I saw that the "Park/Neutral Relay" is plugged into a spot that the diagram says is not used. It is only over one space to the right and is plugged into plug "F" conflicting where the diagram shows it plugged into plug "E." Everything else matches up with the diagram with the exception of the power antenna relay which I removed to keep it down when I use the tape player. The car runs fine, shifts into both Park and Neutral and reacts as it should in those gears. What I want to know is what the function of the "Park/Neutral Relay" is and if I should leave it where it is, or move it over to it's designated spot in the diagram. Thanks.:bouncy:

I've searched the net and still no results. Anyone have a clue on this one? Please?

I never heard of a park nuetral relay maybe its something to do with the factory alarm if the car was equipped with one.

It infact is equipped with that alarm, but what would that do concerning the alarm? Would it perhaps have a transmission lock out that prevents it from moving out of those two gears? I dunno...
