When I turn off the car the driver's side mirror readjusts itself to the position facing farthest away from me (the driver). Every time I get back in the car and start it up I have to readjust the mirror to it's proper position to view behind me.
This is not a big problem, just an annoying one.
I've set -- and reset -- it in it's correct position in the "Driver 1" memory setting many times.
Any ideas?
Try resetting the EXIT position with the mirror where you want it.

ugh Mine does this... I've had to disable memory recall and what not when the car is unlocked, because it would just sit and adjust its self, until it gave up... Oddly enough thats the main reason the previous owner got rid of the car.. She thought it was possessed... I've also noticed that when my rear view mirror dims, the drivers mirror doesn't... I wonder if the two are related... Heated mirror works..Oh well I guess.. I don't have 300 to spend on a new mirror, I still have a drivers window that needs a new regulator... Didn't want to tape the window up so I had the track bent and screws put in a few places to keep the window shut.. heh..
Thank you, Ranger -- your suggestion solved my problem!!
