HE DRIVES A 2008 FORD EXPEDITION AND HIS WIFE DRIVES THE CADDY. HIS CAR COMES STOCK WITH CHROME 20S THEY ALSO COME IN 18S ON A SMALLER FORD SUV. DEALER WANTED 1600 FOR THE 2 RIMS AND TIRES. I TOLD HIM LET ME DO SOME SEARCHIN FOR HIM B4 HE WASTED THAT MONEY. HUNTED THROUGH THE GHETTOS OF QUEENS AND BROOKLYN TOOK ABUT AN HOUR AND I FOUND THEM FOR 650 TIRES RIMS CENTER CAPS AND TWO SETS OF GORILLA LOCKS. ONE SET IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH, ALL YOU NEED TO DO TO GET THEM OFF IS HAMMER A SOCKET CLOSE TO THE SIZE ON THE LOCK AND IT WILL COME RIGHT OFF LIKE YOUR STOCK LUGS. NOW ONE SET WOULD MEAN THEY WOULD HAVE TO STEAL FOUR SOCKETS(ONCE HAMMERED ON YOU CANNOT GET IT OFF) TWO SETS WOULD MEAN THEY WOULD NEED 8 WHICH IS GOING TO BE A REAL PAIN IN THE ASS FOR THESE BITCHES. THIS WILL REALLY CHANGE YOUR ODDS SINCE THIEVES DONT LIKE TO WORK IF THEY DID THEY WOULDNT BE STEALING YOUR RIMS. 2 SETS OF LOCKS TOOO MUCH WORK AND RISK FOR THESE LAZY BASTARDS. You probably bought his own wheels back and gave the thieves incentive to go out and steal more.

LMAO....

If you can afford that kinda expensive desirable stuff....then maybe you could afford not to live in such a neighborhood.

Was already said it was a bad neighborhood so Im just goin with that.
But I guess a better neighborhood would then maybe mean not as much cash for as much Bling.
So live in a bad area and look rich and get robbed ?
Or Live in a better place and look standard and be safer ?

BTW ??? What happened to insurance ?
Why did your boss call you and have you find replacements instead of calling the insurance company and have them take care of it ?

Makes one wonder what kind of company someone works for when a boss calls an employee after his vehicle gets stripped. Instead of doing what any responsible person would do.....that being....calling the insurance company :cookoo:

My boss lives in the infamous Howard beach, houses range from 700,000 to over a million dollars land of the wise guys. Nothing usually happens in howard beach there for not many police very very low crime area. the only time you hear about that neighborhood is usually some exaturated race crime the whole place is 95% white . there was just some black kids that were beaten because they were trying to steal a car from there the white kid got 25 years in jail for saying the n word...stopping the car theft also..I lived around here my whole life everyone knows not to got to that neighborhood to rob stuff you are taking a very big chance of robbing the wrong person that will find out who you are. I live in a really nice neighborhood also and my neighborhood is #4 for car theft in all of New York city. The nicer the Neighborhood the easier to steal . really quite and no one is outside late at night.... The ghettos are always swarming with cops and people out side at all hours making it really hard to rob rims off a car and not be seen doing it, also big chance of you being beaten or shot. This is life in NYC. Now the insurance is company insurance which means it is included with all the com vehicals. all the insurance companys are trying to get rid of there comm traffic due to high rate of accidents with trucks...the trucks are on the road for over 60+ hours a week each truck van car etc. give them a reason to boot you off the policy and you are a dead man back to a high risk policy which will put small companys like us under try paying $15,000 per truck times seven in times like these when business is very slow....cant give these scum bags any reason to boot us off policy. One more thing, these accidents with trucks 98% of the time it is the idiot driver in the car doing something stupid and not realizing trucks dont stop on a dime there is usually 7000 to 20,000 lbs of cargo inside that is why we have a truck and a half distance in front of us. its not for your dumb asses to cut us off. Thanks Nick.:yup:

2008 Expeditions as company vehicles ...?
But being the bosses I guess its kinda explanatory. And the wife has a nice Caddy too ?
And also...all in all....livin in such a nice neighborhood consisting of such expensive homes...

Hang on a minute ???

Dint you say that high risk policys' on company vehicles for... "small companys like us" would put yous out of business ?
Seein as how well your boss appears to be living. It appears to me that he should be able to afford half decent insurance on at least his own vehicle.

Or more to the point........accident insurance is a different part of a policy than liability. Am sure that if you have a company that employs drivers to drive the company vehicles, that accidents are a very large concern. But someone jacking the rims is not an accident. Thats the liability. Sure it is a claim. But its not an accident claim. As you have brought up in describing insurance for a fleet of vehicles in a company.
But then again. What kind of company has a fleet of vehicles (which would be classified as "fleet" for insurance on 3 or more company vehicles), where people are interested in jacking the rims off of a company vehicle ??

Im guessing thats the real reason why your boss didnt submit a claim. Probably because they would have questioned the fact of such expensive rims on a company vehicle.
He's been getting away with paying out of his own pocket for insurance by putting his personal vehicle on the company policy.
And I will bet you dollars to donuts that his wifes car is also under the company policy.
Its just a way to be able to drive with a legal insurance slip.

If him and his wife were in an accident on the way home from a dinner on a Sunday night.....chances are the insurance wouldnt cover. And the reason being is because the vehicle wasnt being used for business.

So Ya.....Such nice vehicles...Livin in such a nice area....Such a beautiful expensive home....But cant afford to make a claim because it may bankrupt his company ???
Being such a small business and all.
As you said.....

It again makes say what 95ETC summed up earlier:
hmmm......................

"Warning Summer Thieves"
Was the title of the thread.

People are gonna want to think bout consider stealing your shit no matter where you live.
Whom you are
What you do and or even what you may or may not have.

Know whats the best warning against summer thieves.
When in the back yard.
Make sure your front door is locked.

They cruise the neighborhood lookin for gatherings in the back. Then come in through the unlocked front door and cruise the home for anything.

Summer thieves, and or winter thieves. No difference what so ever.
We all know where the vulnerabilities are. Without a doubt some of us may slip here or there.

But when it comes down to it, there is no excuse for not protecting ones self as fully as possible. For being aware of the protection that is needed. For securing ones self for coverage of what ever may happen.

Yes ! Protect yourself for summer thieves !
Yes protect yourself against all thievery...............just makes me wonder why sooo sooo many Need to be reminded of this on a day to day basis. Why is it that soo many can be so lackadaisical so as to forget that we All dont live in NY.
Seeing as NY is that much more worse than other areas. And seeing as those that live there are no where near as intelligent as the rest of the population in surrounding areas to have a clue what nick is talkin about. Seein as Ny is soo soo much different then the rest of the world.

But ya....
plain and simple as you said...............we have to protect ourselves from thievery.............

BTW....hope you get an extra big bonus from your cash strapped boss with his small company while living in such a nice neighborhood with such nice vehicles come the end of the month. Seein as you were able to hook him up with a good price for his new rims/tires.

Please dont be blowin smoke out asses. Unless you dont realize how much smoke is being blown out yours ???

Nice neighborhood. I / He got ripped off....oH boo Hooo Hooo.

Welcome to the real world then.

Unlike Canada, here in Alaska we didn't give up our guns and we don't even need a permit to carry heat. Home invasions are unknown around here. It doesn't get dark in the summertime so it's hard to be a sneak thief. People are out watering the lawn at 2:00 AM. The thieves give it helll in the spring and the fall but even then a lot of them wish they hadn't tried it.

Hey "Buddy!"
Has been a while.

Didnt realize that the differences between Canadian and American Insurance companies towards the insuring of company vehicles had anything to to with the transportation of carrying Heat.
Let alone the differences and or times as to the regularities of the frequencies of dusk and or dawn.

BTW my friend...........Do you have any clue what so ever that the when you say "Unlike Canada" while referring to your self in Alaska while talking about watering, summertimes, whether its day or light....it doesnt mean shyte. Thefts and this and or that and crime or what not.....it doesnt mean shyte....

If you seriously believe that Canadian Citizens are not armed. If you seriously believe that Canadian Citizens have "Unlike Canada, here in Alaska we didn't give up our guns................

Permit or not ????

What does that have to do with automobile insurance ?

I have to ask you straight and and straight forward. And I would appreciate a straight out and straight out answer......If your capable ?

What the Fkuc #&%# !!! does gun ownership have to do with this thread !!!
No matter what country .............Im talking about this thread.......

Blows my mind that some Alaskan Canadian Wanna Be hiding behind some sort of American fastidious reality; All the whilst living in what is believed to be the True American Way by a majority of Americans, has the nerve to even attempt bringing up ....................

Bringing up guns and rights to own guns within a thread that was started about some young Jag assed that is working for some one that is clearly capable of paying his own way.

Had nothing to do with guns. Had not to do with crime.
And the reason it had nothing to do with crime is cause crime happens no matter where you are. If your running a business then your insured.

New York, Boston, Toronto, Vancouver, Or Lost-Angeles, Its the same shyte.
All the companys are owned by the same clowns wearing the same big shoes.

Your an old man Zloski.
Nothing wrong with being an old man. Unless its an old bitter old man against something from long ago.

Stop being like soo many other people. Dont be like soo soo many other people.
Why dont you try being like a person for a change.

Any ways......we're talkin insurance here.....and we all know that guns will not help with an insurance claim. Unless maybe you live in Alaska....lol ......Or if by chance there is another city in North America that is by far worse then whatever NY has to offer and insurance companies will look at.

Either then that they are pretty much the same.

The point I was trying to make is that we don't have to go whining to an insurance company because you have to be pretty dumb to go walking into somebodies home through the front door if you're going to get shot by an armed homeowner in the process. Canadians decided to disarm themselves by surrendering the right to own and carry handguns long ago. Now they have people walking in the front door with impunity. You reap what you sow.

Which brings me to the slanderousness shyte by "dkozloski" towards me.
