Hi all,
I need a pair of trans cooler lines for the 500 ci engine & trans in my 76 Fleetwood Brougham. - the solid lines all the way to the cooler in the radiator.
I can't find any anywhere. Tried the usual places over the internet. [I'm in Ireland] Does anyone have any spare or know of any anywhere please??
thanks, Nick

What's happened to the lines that were on the car? You could replace the ends and re-flare them. You will only need to buy the tool.
I usually just make new lines with a tubing bender and a flare tool. If you end up making new lines, tape the new line onto the old one as you bend it so it will be a perfect match.

Thanks - I guess it makes best sense to buy new.
I did get a reel of 5/8 steel gas/ transmission line to use to make a new pattern up but it is so hard I can't bend it.
Where is the best place to get a new set of trans lines from please? USA Auto Supply?
thanks

Hi NY53Jets,
In line tube - of course! I called in line tube and they don't have them for the 76 Fleetwood unfortunately. They offered to make me a set but since I'm in ireland and the lines are still on the car I don't want to take it off the road to ship it to them.
No, I think I'll have to find someone who does them. However if in line tube doesn't do them I'm a bit concerned that others won't.
