...hence the "stimulus" check.

What a stupid idea. How long are we going to be paying this back for?

If Bush's genius idea is to help the economy by giving me money to buy the STS a mesh grille.. then I feel its my American duty to do just that. :usflag:

It would be hilarious to see someone take their $1000 rebate and use it as down payment on a Corolla. "KEEP AMERICA ROLLING!"

This just paid for something on the SLS.

New brakes, rotors, front hub, and the paint for a respray.

For what its worth, the parrot thing was a joke FFS.

As a person who actually has to pay taxes... I think based on what I saw for the criteria to qualify, I won't get diddly.
I could use some "stimulus" but I ain't betting on it.

If I do get one... I wonder if I should tell my wife about it?

If you got your tax refund electronically will they send the payment the same way or is this only paper checks?

I believe if you get your paycheck directly deposited to your account, your rebate gets direct deposited too. If you get a paper paycheck, you get a paper rebate check.

He's right. They won't allow paper check people to change to direct deposite.:crying2:

First of all...title....gross....

But was the the stimulus package or his regular refund? I thought the stimulus was capped at $600 for a single? Wal-Mart and ExxonMobil will get most of the stimulus money (not that I have a problem w/either company) -- which I'm not sure was the original intent of the stimulus. (OK, the secondary intent -- the primary intent was vote pandering...but I digress.)

Yeah, it maxes out at $600 for a single person, up to $1200 for a married couple.

Wal Mart and Exxon won't get mine.
Shell might get some.

I am still not sure we'll get anything, together our income is fairly good.
Sadly, it does little more than pay the bills. :(
Should have bought a cheaper house... but didn't want to.

the people who opted to direct deposit their tax refund will have the stimulus direct deposited

those who opted for paper will receive paper checks

i think it maxes at 600 for single, if you have children you will get another 300 (not per child afaik)
