Just for grins go to www.wsj.com (http://www.wsj.com) (Wall Street Journal home page) and surf to an article on Iceland and the awesome 4x4's built there for glacier climbing. As in: fixing your steering at 4am in a blizzard.

I have seen those trucks on Discovery or TLC or sumfin. They are pretty badass and look like a lot of fun.

Jeremy Clarkson's "Motorworld" show had an episode about Iceland. They were using Toyotas and Chevys for insane ice driving and developed a technique for instantly inflating/deflating the tires using a lighter and some fuel.

My brother spent his honeymoon in Iceland. Like Australia, almost all inhabitants live on the coast. And you need serious machinery to get inland...

Saw Jeremy and company do that as well on Top Gear in Northern Canada. Is an old technique that is actually still used today at road sides from time to time. Really quick way to pop a tire back onto a rim.
