Car and Driver is going to have people creaming their pants with this misprint...page 45 June issue.

"2010 Cadillac CTS Coupe - Estimated arrival and cost: Promised for the end of 2009. Expect to pay $40,000 for a V-6 model, $50,000 for a CTS-V."

:hmm:

I guess you can save $15k - $20k if you willing to give up a couple doors!

At 50k it will be fully loaded...sans tires, wheels, and engine.

There is a rumor of a naturally aspirated 430-ish hp engine coming to fit between the DI V6 and LSA. Perhaps the coupe is going this 430 route. It would be a nice powerplant with AWD. No, I'm not going to let it die until the man himself says no effing way ever will we build it. :D

A twin-turbo V6 would be a nice gap filler too...

A twin turbo V6 would be an AWESOME gap filler. ;) The BMW 535 for example has that sweet twin turbo inline 6 and supposedly Audi will be going back to turbos on the new upcoming A6 so it would not be out of place.

I would take the 375hp they managed with the TT36 Torana. That is a nice number. So that 430hp engine would be a V8? Where does that number come from? Which V8 would that be?

Sounds about right for the 6.2 from the base 'vette tuned for a sedan, or the LSA minus super charger.

So the Supercharged V6 will be the CTS-T, the 430 V8 will be the CTS-U and the 550+ V8 SC will remain the CTS-V :D
