Just received some Sanderson cadillac 500 headers which I paid $300 for, for my 1967 eldo which I swapped a Cadillac 500 into after removing the 429. The 500 fits great, however the headers are a different story. They exit right into the drive axle. I asked my mechanic about putting the headers on upside down and making a U-joint to make them go back down and exit to the exhaust port in the engine bay but he was not too interested in doing that. Anyone got a clue what custom headers would cost me for this job, If I can I'd rather stick with these. Any ideas, anyways I can bend them to fit? Anyone put headers on a 67-70 eldorado?
