So, yesterday, I drove my 1999 Deville through some high water and sucessfully made it through but 5 mins after that I noticed stream or smoke ( I think it was steam) coming through my hood. Now, my temp stayed around 196-202 and performance seemed around the same; if nothing would have smoked I would have never noticed anything wrong. Later on that night I had someone follow me home, which is about a 60 mile trip. During the trip home I notice my horn was a low honk, when I stopped at red lights my engine felt like it was gasping for gas and it seems like that is progressively getting worse, she has a mild shake coming from the engine, my head lights don't seem to be very bright at all anymore and it kinda feels like my HP has decreased.

I check it today and it seems like the module right above the alternator(which I think is the alternator), which has the S belt passing through it, is shaking. Though I can't remember if it shook before. The transmission fluid is half way to the cold line. I have 138,000 miles on her and the oil is good. Oh, the service engine light came on 10-15 miles after being on the road.

Please help... Thanks.

I'll more info if I can think of anything more or if ya'll need me to answer some question.

I pulled the First code..... which I just checked some of my codes last week and this one is new....

Current P0300 = Engine Misfire Detected

Does that mean I have to change the stark plugs? and/or get a tune up?

Here are the rest of my codes.... also, can you have more than one "current", because all the rest of the codes look like "history"?

PCM

P0300 - Engine Misfire Detected

IPC

B1552 - Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error
B1911 - Generator L-Terminal Problem
B1983 - Device Power Circuit Low
B2710 - PASSKey Open/Shorted Pellet

PZM

B1552 - Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error
B1558 - BCM EPROM Checksum Error
B1983 - Device Power Circuit Low

IRC

B1983 - Device Power Circuit Low

ACM

B1347 - Very Low A/C Refrigerant Warning
--NOTE: I have refilled the freon thats why

I cleared the pcm codes last week. So, I

could have the compressor suck up the freon

and I'm still working on that one.

SDM

B1327 - Vehicle system voltage below 9.0

volts

TCS

C1226 - Right Front Excessive Wheel Speed

Variation
C1227 - Left Rear Excessive Wheel Speed

Variation
C1236 - Low System Supply Voltage
C1243 - BPMV Pump Motor Stalled
C1255 - EBCM Internal Malfunction
C1283 - Excessive Time to Center Steering

Yes, you can have more than one current code.

B1327 - Vehicle system voltage below 9.0
This sounds like it may be your problem. The alternator is way down low and you may have gotten it wet. I'd try blowing it out with compressed air and then drive it and let it heat up and dry out. That may help.

what about the P0300 code and spark Plugs and wires

Might have gotten some water splashed up on a plug wire. Hard to say. Run it, get it hot and dry it out.
