get the p0300 code and a surge in the idle, is there any way to tell where its coming from by useing the dic,

Used to be you could shut individual cylinders down but I don't think you can in your car.

guess you could pull wires on at a time,but dont get this code all the time,once in a while though

How old are the plugs & wires?

not shure car is new to me,pulled a few plugs, looked ok,wires look new as well, have a few coil packs here, thought if i knew witch one id start there,see codes in list that say each cly, like 0305 0306 and like that,mabey its a bad injecter?

Mileage might give a hint on the plugs and wire set. 100K is scheduled time to change 'em. K_C

will change them out next sunday, and we will see,car has 117,000miles, but the look like they have been done already, not shure about the plugs, witch ones should i use?owners man calls for 41-900 is this right?

41-950 if I recall correctly. I think the wires are 748J. Check http://www.rockauto.com

P0300 is a random misfire code. If you had a consistant miss on a specific cylinder you would get a code such as P0302-cylinder #2 misfire. Like the others above I would say your wires are shot. They will probably OHM out fine (1K/ft) but they're not providing protection from electromagnetic interferance causing the ignition control modual to screw up causing a misfire.
