: Ready to buy--need some advice

I haven't been on here in a helluva long time, but I figure, where else to come for good Caddie advice? :)

I'll be done with school for good the week after next, I'll have some money together and when I get home, I'd like to throw down some money on a car--preferably a Cadillac.

I found two great examples for relatively little money on craigslist here.....

1993 Sedan DeVille (http://omaha.craigslist.org/car/653410555.html)

1993 Fleetwood (RWD) (http://omaha.craigslist.org/car/654071021.html)

That DeVille, from what I can tell seems to be a sweet deal........however everything I've read on the net seems to indicate the 4.9 sitting under the hood requires premium gas. I'd rather not take the extra expense......so in checking up on the Fleetwood, I found it gets exactly the same MPGs, but on regular (15c/23hwy/17comb.). Only thing is, the guy selling it really isn't much for words as you can see by the description.....

After Eldorados, I have a real soft spot for those big beasts.....but the only thing making me a lil hesitant is the description......I don't know how many miles are on it, what may need to be replaced soon etc.....:suspense:

I'd gladly pay the extra for premium in that DeVille if it meant saving even more on repair bills for the Fleetwood in the future.......but I wanted to get some advice here. So what do ya guys think??

I just bought a 2004 Deville DTS with almost every available option. It's the car of my dreams:thumbsup:. It actually gets really good gas mileage on the highway if you don't chomp on it. Buy what you love is my advice:yup:

Cross your fingers with me then and pray that the Fleetwood stays in its spot for another two weeks ;)
