From the side, it's OK; front is, meh; but the rear, gadzooks, it has an ass the size of Albuquerque.
I'm sure it's a good car, but I hate the gigantic ass. I'd choose a Malibu over the Accord on looks alone. What happened to the other SRT4 you were talking about? Not to go against the flow or anything... but the Accord would be the only one that wouldn't even be an option for me. If anything, I'd personally have to choose between the Caliber and the HHR. dirt_cheap_fleetwood 04-25-08, 01:03 AM For some reason I really like the look of that HHR. It looks like they've done a few tweaks to it and it is really much more eye catching than the older ones. The Caliber looks great. Very mean and agressive. However, if I'm going to get a car that claims to be sporty by any measure it had better have a v8. Brizzal 04-25-08, 01:17 AM What happened to the other SRT4 you were talking about?
it was the srt4 neon, i figured might as well go brand new
im stuck between the hhr ss and the srt4 illumina 04-25-08, 01:52 AM I actually like them all, even though the Cobalt is still a trademark Cavalier...:p I~LUV~Caddys8792 04-25-08, 03:34 AM #1- Accord EX-L V6 Coupe
It's the biggest, most mature, most luxurious of the three.
#2- Cobalt SS
I like sports coupes, and this is arguably the fastest one on the market, for '09.
#3- HHR SS.
Like the Cobalt, but as a throwbackish, slightly feminine wagon.
#4- Caliber SRT-4.
Like the HHR, a smallish wagon, but it's too rude, too crude for me. Out of just these cars, I might go with the Cobalt SS because its an amazing price/performance bang for the buck. The new spoiler is much more mature, and there's room to haggle.
Otherwise, a used G35 coupe would be the best way to spend your money on a fun car. Red_October_7000 04-25-08, 09:51 AM The HHR SS will be a great choice. Plenty of room inside it, bucket-loads of get-up-and-go, fun to drive, good on gas while you're having all that fun, and the fact that the SS is an upmarket model takes care of all the little nags with the HHR (such as upholstery that will sand the skin off your ass, somehwhat cheap fittings on the base model, and lack of power in the base model, though it's still pretty quick).
The Cobalt SS is basically the same in a car-shaped package. Pick which you like and which fits your needs. Cobalt is a go-fast car, HHR is a go-fast small truck. You can do lots more with the HHR but the Cobalt is a car.
The Dodge, I'd stay away from. They have gotten very mixed reviews and I've not had all that good luck with low market Chrysler products. Their high-end shit is very nice but this is not that.
I'd drive a Yugo before I drove a Honda. I just can't stand them, and their cars, and the mentality of people who drive them. No Honda. Chicano-Mexicano 04-25-08, 11:30 AM #3- HHR SS.
