Why are you selling your DTS???

Selling the sled!?! WTF? And how much? ;)

I am just testing the waters... if I can get what I think she is worth and feel that the Sled will go to a loving home... then I will part ways.

Reasons...

-I bought not one... but two Jeeps in two weeks... though one is for sale.
-I am currently in Jeeper mod hell with my Unlimited Rubicon
-I plan on getting a CTS Coup, Coup V or CTS V when available.
-I just got a new house, move in on May 15th.
-Sled is out of factory warranty.
-Sometimes you are just done with something... the only thing I would do more to the Sled is a total repaint in factory Black Raven to fix her blemishes and make her 100%.

I do not need the money, well, I am not hurting for it . I can always use more money. :)
The Sled is paid for, so if I don't get what I want for it..... I'll just keep it. Simple as that.
What do I want??? I think she is worth 15k... but thats me. It isn't exactly easy to find loaded, cared for, Black on Black Night Vision DTS'.

The Sled has not been "Butchered" in any way and I have the original springs to put her back to stock height. Every mod has been proffesionally done. The Corsa has been welded... not bolted and is laser straight. The stereo is all factory except I added a sub... a very expensive sub and amp. Image Dynamics ID-Max 12 and a Zapco DC750.2 Price that AMP out and go into sticker shock. Simply one of the best amps money can buy... but all of that can be taken out if so desired.. non of it is permanant.

The Sled is a part of me and always will be... it has been the best car I have ever owned bar none... and I have owned more than a few.

But I am ready to build a new Sled....

i wouldnt sell it, id keep it as the cruiser....the jeep can never be a cadillac..

The Jeep is not replacing the Sled... The Jeep is the "Bug Out" vehicle, as Rolex says.

A new V or Coupe will be.

Since it's paid off, you shouldn't even consider selling it until you get into your new CTS/V/C/V... but that's just me - While I'm a Jeeper... I wouldn't want one as my sole vehicle for any given amount of time.

It's a shame that you're thinking about selling the sled though... as I've mentioned before, yours is just about the only modified Cadillac on here that I actually like because you did it right... you may have modified it, but you kept her true and didn't try to make her into something she isn't. I'll miss being able to point to yours and say, "If you're not going to keep it stock, this is how you do it..."

Either way... if you wait 'til the spring, I just might be in the market ;)

Believe me.. you can drive a JK every day. My Rubi has NAV, satellite radio, AC... Hell it is as comfortable as the Sled... ALMOST.

Just no where near as quick.

It's a shame that you're thinking about selling the sled though... as I've mentioned before, yours is just about the only modified Cadillac on here that I actually like because you did it right... you may have modified it, but you kept her true and didn't try to make her into something she isn't. I'll miss being able to point to yours and say, "If you're not going to keep it stock, this is how you do it..."



i agree. his is one of my favorite deville's i've ever seen. Nice rims, nice tint, and nice exhaust...that's all you need. It is black on black and classy. its too bad. those jeeps he got aren't nearly as cool as the sled. however, I agree that since it is off factory warrantee it may be time to consider switching.

I just called it that once and it stuck.

You guys sure aren't making it easy one me, as if it wasn't already a tough decision.

I have had a couple local offers and turned both down. I really got to get all the money and then some to let it go. Highest of the two offers was 13k... I have a feeling he is gonna come back at me for 13,500.. but I won't take that either.
