I previously posted a message where I complained that I had no order number. In fairness to the salesman, I think there was some miscommunication between him and myself regarding what I wanted. I clarified and he did provide me an order number and an estimated completion date.

As others have suggested, I called Cadillac and asked about the status of my order. I was told the estimated completion date is 21 Apr. Before I start nagging my salesman yet again, does anyone have any feedback on how accurate the estimated completion date has been? Should I be asking for more specific information? I have seen other posts where individuals got a several digit long number that corresponded to the exact status.

Thoughts?

Unfortunately, we are both in the same Cadilac limbo. At least you have a target production week, as I do not.

Here's the real issue.
You would not be bugging your salesman.
You would merely be asking that he do his job.
Most won't mind at all.
Just call him and ask for the status.
You were told the 21st, it's now the 23rd........what's the status?
