Hey guys, I would love to know if anyone here has air ride on their cadillacs. I'm not sure what years would be the same, but I have a 96. I have been trying to do some research on getting struts for the front and the back. I have found them for the front, however not the rear. whenever I look up the rear, it's a bag and bracket. I've seen this on one other deville, and I didn't like the way it looked when slammed. It looked like the bag was going to pop out at any moment. also not much lift. Anyone ever do this, or know where to look? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

To dissolve any confusion, I am talking about air ride with a compressor, tank, and switches. Not the stock or replacement passive struts.

My 91 Deville Air shocks died, and I replaced them with Air Lift products from Summit Racing. www.summitracing.com
This page shows what I used:

I like the air bags a lot, and they will lift my old car about 3 full inches, which is enough when I visit my farm.

Thanks for the info. I am thinking on running about 200 psi. I notice these are rated 100 psi. Also, did you mount them on the lower control arm where the spring would have been? I saw one of those setups before but it looked like the bag was almost folded in half when lowered. I hear this is ok for most bags, but would rather have something straight. I was looking at mine and I think a strut back there would be a way better way to do things.
