Hello. I need to replace the "Y-pipe" (the exhaustpipe that is located at the very front, from the exhaust manifold and down...) and this seems hard to find over here in Sweden. Any recommendations on where I can buy one at a reasonable price ?

Kind regards from Stockholm, Sweden.

Stefan

Hi Swede, I tried to reply to you a couple days ago and my computer crashed which is quite rare for me actually. I'm surprised nobody else jumped in but welcome aboard dude. I actually live right next to New Sweden and Stockholm Maine. It's a Swedish settlement as you might guess. I had a complete exhaust put on my 70 Deville a few years ago and the most expensive part was the Y pipe. The guy at the muffler shop made the Y pipe and did a nice job but if I would have known it would cost so much to make it, I would have put dual exhaust on it. He said he still charged me less than it would have cost to buy one so I guess they are expensive as far as Y pipes go. A good muffler shop should be able to make one for you but I'm not so sure if common American exhaust flanges would be common in Sweden. If you still have the old Y pipe to go by, a good pipe bender should be able to copy it. Good luck.
