Hi,

I was offered GM employee pricing on a cadillac lease but I technically am not eligible for it this time. I had it on my previous lease, but my grandmother passed away and I don't think I'm eligible.

So, I want to know if my dealer is actually giving me this pricing or not.

Anyone know approximately what percentage of MSRP you pay when you get GM EMPLOYEE pricing on a 2008 Cadillac CTS? The one I am looking at has an MSRP of 49,500.

Thanks

I just looked one up for you. A car that lists for $48,190 has a GM employee price of $42,583.

$49.5K MSRP =
$45.0K INVOICE with no added fees =
$43.7K GMS PRICE, plus or minus a few $.

Ask the salesperson to pull the invoice and show it to you. Employee pricing and Supplier Pricing is on the invoice.

When you say no added fees on the GMS price, does that mean that GM Employee pricing does not pay additional fees?

I am signing on a deal later today and would love to know this. I am expecting to pay, due at signing:

1) First month's payment
2) Acquisition Fee of around $690 or so I think
3) Tax on cap cost reduction

Anything else?

Wow. If I had that kind of discount, I could probably go ahead and trade the wife's '06 STS for the new CTS she wants ...

Anyone have any spare employee discounts laying around unused? :D
