You already listed my favorite, Breakfast in America. I told you about that one, didn't I?

But another favorite is Lily Tomlin's This is a Recording, with her starring as the snorting, obnoxious, omnipotent telephone operator, Ernestine:

I prefer to pretend I don't know what is on the cover of "Load".

No, tell me. Blood?

Bloody semen. :ack:

Makes for a creative album cover when the album is named LOAD.

Oh, yeah, now I see the white in there. That's ****ed up.
If I named an album "load", it would have Peter North's picture on the cover.

I've already posted a review of this album (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-forums-lounge-member-introductions/133411-album-review-shelby-lynnes-just-little.html). She just looks so damn sexy.

Having a bloody load for an album cover (or an album named Load) is just as bad as having testicles hanging off the back of your truck.

You have to admit its creative. ;)

The cover of the album is original artwork entitled "Semen and Blood III." It is one of three photographic studies by Andres Serrano created in 1990 by mingling the artist's own semen and bovine blood between two sheets of Plexiglas.

That's pretty bad :ack:

Okay, I'm putting this in here because its the coolest damn thing I have ever seen. I love Styx, so here are some pictures of my Paradise Theater album. I really want to know how the got that writing on the vinyl.

God that's neat. Styx always had cool album art.

Another one I like is Kid A by Radiohead.

It's bleak, just like the music on the album.

If memory serves correct Iron Maidens "Piece of Mind" album was available in a clear plastic sleeve with the cover art printed directly on the vinyl.

It wasnt the original "Eddie" artwork but was a brain on a serving platter on a dinner table.
