So Im just sittin here letting my car dry a bit more. Rather than just sit around and whack pud I figured I would update my progress as I went along.

After a long night of drinking I dragged my ass out of bed at 9am. Normally I dont get up until around noon but this day is the day I get my car ready for the meet.

I rounded up all my shit and headed down to my dad's office to get started. The old man even paid me a visit while I was washin my car.

I first started off washing the car with dawn to strip last years polish.

After that, I proceeded to clay bar the Lac.

Then I dried it with 100% cotton towels.

While letting the hidden water drip out I walked over to Autozone and bought a microfiber towel to wipe off all the lint from the cotton towels. I also went to QT and got some low carb goodies.

Thats where Im at right now. Time for a smoke and then I will start taping off the car.....

Back in a bit!

Sorry for the shitty post. My brain doesnt work right after a long night of drinking.....

Time for Z6.......supposed to be sunny & almost 70 here tomorrow, i'm gonna build on the 2 coats of z2 I did last week by doing another z2 & a couple coats of z5, really get her shined up. last fall i even bought a bottle of the z8 show car finishing spray for the final coat, but hardly seems worth it now with all the stone chips on my front end.
