Actually it will work just fine. Here is a picture of a customers XLR we added the V-series front grill to. We also installed a V-Series hood (not pictured). Looks sharp and doesn’t require any type of modification.

The V-Series grill needs to be ordered with the emblem. This customer wanted a more integrated look, so we did a black chrome grill, emblem, reef, and trim. Pics dont do this car justice as it has a great presence.

Does the adaptive cruise control still work with that lower Grille?

No. The wire grill negates the radar sensors. There is another (half size) lower grill piece that is available, if you want the look.

Opps sorry for the delay in response.
The ACC will lose the adaptive function. Customer wanted the wire mesh all the way across the front. He was willing to lose the adaptive portion of his cruise control.
