Yea I hear that man. I am not trying to save miles or anything, but thats just all I have put on her so far. This month will be a year having my CTS. Living in NYC it is not like I do much real distance/highway driving either. I dont drive to work, it is pointless and would cost a fortune, so she sleeps (or collects dust :) ) in the garage a lot.

Going to my house upstate is the only real mileage I put on it. About 260 round trip. I will be going up there a lot more this summer most likely tho. As a matter of fact, I am going up tomorrow!

Sullivan County. Town of Neversink. I love it up there. I am about 14 miles off the highway through some nice twisty, winding roads. Then to the top of a steeeeep ridge, to the end of the dead end road and then up my drive way. Nearest neighbor that lives up there year-round is 7 miles away. I can run around naked, eating rabbits up there for months, and no one would know anything of it! :alchi:

you guys might want to heed the warning about the timing belt... i hit 102k on my 03 3.2L and bam the serpentine split, so i replaced it and it wouldn't start... took it to the dealer and lo and behold the timing jumped somehow and bent all the valves... $7000 later, I have a new 3.2L and a 100k warranty (just on the motor)... so u might want to have that timing belt changed... cadillac told me I should have had it done at my 90k checkup and didn't, so they weren't going to offer me any assistance

Damn put some gas in your car man!!! lol

Why can't we have timing chains, instead of belts.....damn....that's sooooooo 2001 to have a belt....

It's about $450 +70 for the belt and labor,(5 hours) I also had the water pump done at the same time so it was more. I'd like to drive this baby to 200k without havng to go back into the engine.

I just hustled my CTS from a Cadillac dealership near my job. It's an 04 with 45,000 miles on it. It's got the Sport package with the factory 17's and two tone seats. I bought it for 17,500, I think I got a good deal with the extended warranty and all. Best of all, the dealership offers free carwashes for LIFE so she stays CLEAN!!!
