I was over at Cadillac Faq and saw u can turn off the traction and stability systems on a V. I know the traction system can be turned off in a regular cts, but can the stability system be turned off or atleast turned down?

Hold down the TC button in the glovebox until the display says stability is off. :thumbsup:

It's a shame the CTS doesnt have competitive mode. It lets you have some fun before it stops you from running into a pole or barrier.

I have tried to turn off the stability control but holding the button down does nothing. Did stability control come as an option or was it standard?

I'm not 100% positive, but I think it was only with the sport package??? What year is your CTS?



Looks like 03-05 it was only with the sport package from what I can find. Don't know about 06-07. Tried the FAQ???

It is an '05 base model with the FE1 suspension. New to the forums and am a little confused by the layout and function of the site. I didn't realize there were 2 different FAQ's and the search function isn't the best. I'll do a little more searching, thanks.
