This is an opportunity for folks that know thir dyno and tuning stuff to really shine :) You can see the list of adds to my car in my signature, knowing that it will be a 80 degree day with a maximum of 44% humidity, what is your guess as to the RWHP and RWTQ that the "V" will make? I am sorry I do not know what dyno (Brian, if you read this can you tell us what dyno Chris uses?) he is going to use but you can caviet your answer with what you think it will pull on which dyno. Whoever is the closest to the posted dyno sheet has bragging rights as the dyno king on this board for a week :) I know that there are so many variables that it will be almost impossible to guess but lets have a little fun here guys :2thumbs: If you don't want to participate, I am sorry that you wasted your time reading this, I just think that it would be very cool if someone actually hits it dead on!!!

My Best,

Rob

The tuner has the "V", he just called and said that it was a good Dyno day.... Whatever that means... I will pick the car up at 4:00 PM and post the results here this evening, I even asked him if he could provide the dyno sheet in a digital format and he told me that I would get hard and soft copy, this guy is awesome to work with!!!!! Brian, YOU ARE D'MAN!!! Thanks for turning me on to him :) :) :)

I may be wrong, but IIRC, the stock plugs should be used for Supercharged engines. I have not done plugs in a while, probably need to, but remember a few cources stating that the expensive, non-stock, long-life plugs that run $5.00+/each are great, just not for the SC applications.

Anyone?

I know alot of people swear by the ngk tr-6's...thats what I was told to use when doing the headers. Everyone on ls1tech and corvetteforums swears by them....so they must be good.
Also was told to stay away from bosch

And the results are in 441.7 RWHP and 423.5 RWTQ, the cam and heads with requisite hardware were ordered this afternoon so in about three weeks, we should see another bump. I have been assure by the tuner that the bottom end is rated for 750 HP so I will continue this project until either the rear end grenades or I thrash the engine :) So, the question is, who was the closest? By the way, the Dyno run was done at the warmest part of the day and despite the 160 degree thermostat the car was at over 180 degrees when he ran it! He assured me that under normal air flow situation (highway use) the REAL number was at leat 10 HP and Torque above the posted number. Now, ya'll figure out who has earned the Dyno-King of the week title!!! By the way, I appreciate all of you that have participated in the FUN exercise :)

My Best,

Rob
