My 2002 STS left turn signal stays on when activated and does not blink. The Right turn signal works fine. The Emergency Flashers appear to work however the left side indicator does not flash, and I don't think the turn signal is working correctly. I suspect the problem is the flasher. Does anyone know where the flasher is or if this model even has one? The sound comes from the vicinity of the emergency flasher switch.

Sounds more like one of you bulbs is burnt out.
Check the front and rear bulbs first.

Thanks for the reply. I checked all the bulbs and they check good. When the left signal is activated they both shine brightly and steadily.

From what I've read, the turn signal flasher is on the steering column next to the four-way flasher. It's a cheap part ($2.00) so give it a shot.

Unfortunately the turn signal flasher is part of the hazard switch assembly. If flasher fails assembly must be replaced. MSRP about $87.

Thanks Eric, That's kind of what I thought, since the emergency switch is where I could feel what seemed like a relay clicking. Does the woodgrain cover for this switch just clip on or is there some secret to removing it? I assume this must come off to get at the switch!!!
