I just received my LockPick from YourGMSolutions but I have no directions in the package. I think my only real question is the DIP Switches. It arrived with 1 and 2 on and all other off.

I remember a post about Auto Mode verses Mute mode to activate the unit. Can anyone shed some light? I dont want to plug it in and the DIP's to be wrong and blow anything.

:worship: TIA,

I got mine the same way...no problem. 1 & 2 down is auto mode, works the best. 1 down 2 up is manual mode. I set mine to auto no need to hit mute 4x.
It's an easy install. Did you get the bluetooth interface? Make sure to unplug main connector before changing dip switch positions.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, I did get the Bluetooth connector but I don't have anything to plug it into yet. The way I understand it is I need to buy a BT kit and I am waiting to see what all comes out.

Thanks again, off to start the install.

Now while I am feeling like an idiot. Is there a good tool to get the trim off. I can't even get a tiny flat head in there. I know it sounds stupid but the seams are almost a perfect fit. I guess I need to find a magic tool. Any ideas would be great.

Panel puller. Order one. http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/topages/bojo.php They are plastic or wood and non-marring.
Or you can take the smallest flat head and put some electrical tape on it.

Ok the electrical tape worked. Now where can I get some of those clips. I heard several fall as I pulled them. The two on the center console that hold the 2 simulated wood pieces only had one clip on each. I am guessing the other two on each fell and I cant find them....

On a positive note the yourgmsolutions LockPick works great.
