Just found out from the dealer bluetooth was pushed back a few weeks. It was mentioned earlier by someone it would be, and it is confirmed now by actual built vehicles. Cadillac does bring teh suck. Instead of getting a BT capable CTS in about 2 weeks, I am probably just going to wait for the 2009s. I guess I have been waiting a year, what is another 4 months :crybaby:. I am sure when I go to order a 2009 though, the paddle shifters will be on contraint or worse yet the fraking American Axle strike will delay the start.

I might still be ok, I hope. I haven't yet been "preferenced" by the GM factory. My order hasbeen received and approved, just waiting for them to pick it for build. My dealer says I will definitely have bluetooth.

I hope it works out, it should. I could still get an 08 with bluetooth, but they cancelled Light Platinum and the dealer is having issues with that. We were going to swap over one of the future bank cars to what I wanted if this one did not come with BT, but they cancelled my color choice. He is checking to see if they will be doing any 08s in Radiant Silver, but who knows.

I know you want the bluetooth badly. So did I. If don't want to wait for your
dream car any longer I would suggest just going ahead and buying a CTS now
and picking up the Motorola T505.

I am very happy with the performance of this device in my CTS as far as
making and receiving calls is concerned.

Additionally, we expect aftermarket kits to be more readily available
in the near future that will integrate bluetooth into the CTS.

Don't let your purchase plans rely solely on bluetooth. It's just not
worth making that your #1 priority if it means waiting for a vehicle.

I was in the same boat. On April 1st, he called me and told me to not wait for "Blue Diamond" and pick another color. The likelihood of introducing new colors in an ending MY is small. I didn't want to wait for September delivery of an 09. I think my dealer did a great job in timing the order and I hope I will get one of the last 08's. Best of luck to you, though.

Any chance of posting a pic of your steering wheel? I'd like to see how it looks different than the earlier wheels.
